When you visit our website, we may save a very small file on your computer. You won't see it and it won't take up a lot of memory or change anything on your system. All it does is let our website recognise you next time you visit.. Most websites use these, they're called "cookies".
If you don't want us putting cookies on your computer, that's absolutely fine. All you need to do is set your Internet browser to block cookies from our site and your can carry on using it, though some features may not work as well as they would with cookies.
Google, Facebook and other Internet companies also gather information about you so they can recommend products to you. Although we don’t do this, these companies may collect information about you or your browsing habits while you visit our social networking pages, so they can see what you're interested in and make sure they're offering you everything you need. If you don't want these companies storing your information, then the sites you use should have the option to turn this off.
Information gathered via our newsletter sign up service will be used only by Cowes Club and is never shared with any third party. Only your name and email address are stored and this is done through a professional mailing company MailChimp. The information is not stored on our computers or servers.
When you make a booking with us, we store your details on our secured database so we have a record of your booking. We do everything we can to keep that information safe, even while you are entering it into the website or giving it to us on the phone.
